Quicktime streaming problem solved

Some time back I posted to the list notice of a problem streaming WWDC  
and MWSF videos of the Stevenotes.

Others chimed in with similar concerns, such that the broadcast would  
stop a few seconds in, and QT 6.3 would freeze. Reinstalling made no  
difference.

Another look the other day at Apple's support pages for QT revealed the  
answer. The 3ivx plugin allowing QT to show .avi videos turned out to  
the the culprit for many, and updating the version I had (4.0.3) to .4  
solved the problem entirely.
