It has several bugs and they had no schedule to fix them, and it only runs under classic. Maybe they have fixed some things since then, but I don't know. I purchased MacGPS Pro (http://www.macgpspro.com/) a couple of weeks ago and have played with it a little. So far it looks to be better than GPSy, but I have not had a chance to play a lot. It runs native under OS X. If you just want to upload and download waypoints, tracks and routes, there is an open source command line tool available here http://www.snafu.org/. The older 1.7.2 version used to compile fine under OS X if you followed the instructions for Linux and not the ones for BSD. I needed the newer version to be compatible with the GPS V, and it does not like to compile under OS X. I could not even get the old version to compile with the current gcc. I did eventually get the new one to compile, but I need to go back and clean things up still. The Delorme Street Atlas software would run under classic last time I tried, but they dropped support and new versions for the Mac. I do not know if it is still available. Sherman
