If it is not a hassle, have you tried connecting a cpu via enet wire to the "host" with usb net connection? If that works then, the trouble would lie in the airport settings. Have you tried the usb net connection on the Ti and shared thru airport (making the Ti a "base station" to another wifi cpu? Just random shots in the dark...
