[Ti] Unable to run my HD Cinema Display while 17" PB is
closed.

I can run my 22" Cinema Display off my 15" PB, I just plug in the DVI
and USB to the DVI->ADC converter box, and it wakes up the machine.
I can usually then open the book up a bit for air flow, and the LCD
stays off, but, if it goes to sleep and I wake it detects both
displays.

I'm not sure you really need to boot with it connected, just waking
from sleep by plugging in a USB device does the trick.
