The good news (for me)  is a new provider called Bulldog in the UK is 
offering 2Mb ADSL (downstream) evenings and weekends, reverting to 512K 
during the weekday working hours.

All for a very reasonable price. Can't wait to get mine!

Anyone used them already? Any good/bad experiences?
