NOT really. Here is the basic fact: these batteries have a finite number of
charge-discharge cycles.  Probably 500 or maybe a bit less.  Once you start
approaching that number the battery becomes less and less efficient.

Also age is a determinant. A battery might not have been used that many
cycles, but with age will also start to fail.
