Still having trouble with site log ins & Safari??

How much trouble is anybody having using Safari with sites that require 
log in?

www.buy.com still doesn't work with Safari. It had been so long since 
I'd bought from them (last Christmas, maybe) that it took a long time 
before I finally thought to boot up IE (been a long time since I did 
that, too!). Would one of the helper apps that can make Safari look 
like IE have solved my problem or is it a Java implementation snafu?
