chunkmgr.lib cannot be found

I have been using Adobe Pagemaker 6.5.2 on my Powerbooks since about 
1997 (I think it was v 4 then).

Today is the first time that I have  needed to publish a document 
with it since I had my 15.2" Al Powerbook last month.

I find that the application "fails to launch" because

	"the application cannot open because chunkmgr.lib cannot be found" !

I have never seen any message like this, nor have I ever heard of chunkmgr.lib.
I do not recall ever having any launch problem in all the hundreds of 
times that I have used this application, under every version of the 
OS since 1997.

Perhaps one of the specialists on the List might suggest to me what 
is happening, and what I need to do to avoid it (so that I can use 
Pagemaker!).

Before sending this, I found another copy of Pagemake 6.52 on another 
partition of my HD, and surprisingly, it launched immediately without 
problem.  Perhaps even more puzzling: that the copy on the X disk, in 
the Applications folder, needs something that a copy in a disk 
partition with no OS can find....

So now, I am up and running, but would like to solve the puzzle.
