Tarik is correct, AppleCare is treated like a product/service that needs 'activation', not just a plan you pay for. When you purchase it online however - you are usually choosing for a specific model.. Since the new book is still a PowerBook G4, I would think it's fine. (call 1 800 My Apple) Bill Reburn
