Being able to slow down music without a change in pitch is great for us amateur musicians trying to learn how to play a piece. Being able to alter pitch without changing tempo is great for playing along without having to retune your instrument if pitch is not exactly on. I have found a great application, the Amazing Slow Downer, that I believe is on version tracker. It does both of these things very well but it's shareware price is on the high side at $40 compared to some other music editing and processing applications. I agree this would be a nice addition to iTunes. They should license it and include it like they did Soundjam itself and the G-Force visualizer. -- Dennis Fazio dfz at mac.com
