According to Daniel T Kegan: >Any informed guesses of a) cause, b) fix to shrink Alice back to normal size? On the iMac, is the desktop picture set at center, or stretch to screen, or maybe 'original' size? If it's running OSX you should have the same choices for display as on the Ti: Center, Fill screen, Stretch to fill screen, and Tile. Fill screen may default to the original size of the photo. "Stretch to fill" will shrink or expand proportionally, and if your original image, or images, tend to be very large, then "Center" will also default to 'original size, merely centering the picture. The 'eye to nose' thing sounds like a large-format portrait being 'centered'. The difference in your two screens' resolutions shouldn't make that huge of a difference. Maybe you could open the largest image in your photo app, select all, hit "Copy", then create a new image [under the File menu], set the size for the new image to be 400 pixels vertically, and 'proportional; horizontally, paste the 'copied' image, and you should have another version of the pic that will be about half the size of the iMac screen. [a little less than half, probably]. Sounds involved, but really it's just a step-by-step. Graphic Converter, Photoshop, Elements, etc, will do the trick. ~flipper
