Path Finder & Finder

I've just tried PathFinder. It is quite a nice/useful application. And 
I would really like to use it... But to do this I need to kill the 
Finder.
Whenever I need the finder I just clickThe idea to use pathfinder and 
whenever I click the desktop to access the finder (it's faster then 
getting the icon on the dock). Is there any way to get Path Finder 
clicking on the desktop?
