[Ti] Fujitsu Drive Troubles?

OK, I did some research on this. Apparently the only drives involved are
Fujitsu MPG4 series Desktop drives that have the Cirrus Logic Controller
cards. The controller chips are encased in epoxy that tends to melt under
heat conditions and will suddenly short out causing a sudden and
catastrophic failure.

None of the drives in the new Powerbooks (which are MHS2 series) are named
in the suit. However, the way Fujitsu is treating the people who have had
their drives fail is making other people who own Fujitsu products a bit
nervous! Almost as bad as Apple treats its customers on occasion...(just
kidding!)

BTW: These speedy, quiet, cool little Fujitsu drives are one of the reasons
the new Powerbooks are so insanely great!
