>So switch away, and when Adobe lets InDesign wither Quark's arrogant attempt to "buy" Adobe is what ticked them off enough to develop InDesign... Pagemaker has always been lame and there are errors deep in the code that destine it to always be an also-ran. Adobe launched InDesign as a "Quark killer" and their pockets are considerably deeper than Quark's (a privately held company). Quark is 3 to 5 years between revisions and by the time Quark get's to version 7, InDesign will be at version 5, running circles around Quark in many ways. One of the greatest things that will cause publishers to switch is InDesign's XML data structure, which makes it easy to dump content to and from proprietary publishing systems as well as the web, and archival systems. InDesign is here to stay... Quark is the one that is withering. -- <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> Mike Bigley Maineville, Ohio http://www.norbertrunning.com Please support an American Indian Elder & Medicine Man by visiting the above link. <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
