>Great LA Times article. And they are right, two consecutive quarter >losses doesn't bode well for Apple Stockholders, certainly. I thought the article was completely biased and a terrible piece of journalism... the second paragraph draws a huge and un-founded assumption that Apple's losses are the result of competing with Microsoft. If you are a columnist, you can mix opinion with fact, but in reality the reporter should be fired for making such a statement in an ARTICLE without providing substantiated FACTUAL EVIDENCE. The economy sucks, every computer manufacturer is taking it on the chin, and Apple is the only one that did not have to bail itself out by laying off thousands of its employees. In fact, the rest of the article states that if Apple had not taken some charge-offs, they would have posted an $11 million profit. Charge offs have nothing to do with Microsoft...this was just a reporter needing to fill an article quota and throwing something together with information off the wire. -- <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> Mike Bigley Maineville, Ohio http://www.norbertrunning.com Please support an American Indian Elder & Medicine Man by visiting the above link. <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
