I have seen Apple totally replace machines that had far fewer problems than
this one. I suggest you call someone at Apple and tell them is is time that
you got a totally new Mac.  Apple is sensitive to users that get duds. And a
dud like this is quite rare.  Apple does not want unhappy users.


You might try writing a narrative of your troubles and emailing it to
steve at mac.com
