Eudora has built-in facilities (via menus) to remove all return characters in selected text, removing the word wrap. So you can email a URL without returns. This helps in some situations. Also, placing beginning and ending < > brackets around the URL helps with some email client programs. Entourage worked in the opposite way regarding word wrap return characters. I found no way to remove the word wrap in Eudora. The program TextSOAP (MacOS 9 and OS X) can perform many reformatting functions, including removing word wrap, in many email programs. If you receive email with word wrap and want to send it on to many others, it is courteous to remove the bad formatting one time at your end before sending it on. <http://www.unmarked.com/> With Eudora set up the right way, you can remove word wraps manually by just deleting the return characters at the end of lines. With URL's you just delete the return. With paragraphs, you usually replace the returns with spaces. Removing word wrap on send insures that paragraphs will format well no matter how wide a window the recipient is set up for. -- Regards, Steve (is tv wake zone?)
