1. The Open Firmware password is not stored on the harddrive.
2. The real security problem is often the data stored on the harddrive. 
Simply by removing it from the computer and inserting it in another 
computer will allow the thief to access the data, no questions asked.
3. It is possible to reset the OF password yourself. No need for a 
purchase receipt.

Procedure:

- Change amount of RAM in the computer.
- Reset the parameter ram thrice.
