Seymour - I have an "original" Ti-500, and my (original) attery is now almost dead. It has been getting worse, but very recently has massively deteriorated. I get the feeling that 2 years (its age) may be the "life" of a Li-ion battery. For example, I just unplugged from the mains, and the batery life is shown as 8 minutes ! On a flight last Saturday, I wrote a few email, and then it just suddenly died..... A new battery is on my critical path. regards, Trevor ---------- I shut down my Powerbook today and reset the Power Manager. This has made no difference to my poor battery performance. As soon as I unplug my Ti-500 from the mains, the time remaining shows as 8 minutes. That means it is losing 12% of the stored power per minute ....! A new (63 mAh) battery has been ordered from Apple. I should have it within the week. regards, Trevor
