What >are your recommendations? > Right I am sending you this with a Novatel Merlin C201 PCMCIA card on the Sprint Vision (CDMA 2000 1x) network. I could not get the Sierra card to be recognized. There is a modem script that I think that I got off of Sprint's site. I think that I am going to improve it a little when I get a chance. The Novatel Merlin card seems to work without any drivers installed. I am using 10.2.3 and this might be required to do this. I have also used my Motorola T720 phone with the USB data cable with Verizon's CDMA 20001x service. This has worked a little faster for me, but that could just be the particular locations that I have been in.
