Apple just sent around an e-mail message that mentioned the "3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) standard" (see http://www.apple.com/mpeg4/3gpp/ ), which can be downloaded and installed if we have QuickTime 6.3, which I have.

I just downloaded it, but decided not to install it until I checked with you Geniuses.  What say you?  Any problems with it versus benefits?
