John (and list) -- I have been having the same problem with my TiBook 400. It seems to happen intermittently, not every time speakers/headphones are plugged/unplugged. For a while I thought it had something to do with the DVD Player app since I was noticing it after hooking the Powerbook up to my TV & stereo, but I haven't been able to reliably & regularly recreate the problem. I'm using 10.2.6 but I also noticed the problem when using 10.2.5. It might have been happening in earlier versions, too, but like I said, it's so intermittent it's hard to track down. Does anyone know of maybe a menu extra that allows monitoring/shifting the L-R balance? It would make an issue like this easier to track down. brian @joannou.net >Date: Sun, 15 Jun 2003 23:27:07 -0400 >Subject: [Ti] A real TiBook related question... >From: John Pariseau <simplymail at ururk.com> >Message-Id: <68396BE6-9FAA-11D7-994C-0003931DDA64 at ururk.com> > >After having plugged or unplugged a set of powered speakers into my >TiBook (550), the audio balance (L/R) often moves by itself.
