>I am beginning to think that this was the issue. My T-500 screen is >set at 1152 x 768. >Perhaps for the projector, I should have set it for 800 x 600. No. You can set the resolution of your main screen and the projector independently. >This could explain why my Ti- desktop/ background was projected on >to the big screen. No, that's because you weren't mirroring, so the projector was like a second monitor on which you hadn't placed any windows. See my previous message. An iBook can only mirror, but on your TiBook the projector is independent from your laptop screen. This is really cool. For instance with KeyNote you can have the presentation on the projector in full screen mode, while the laptop shows the 3-panel layout with presentation, list of slides, plus your notes. That last feature is really great. You see your notes, the audience doesn't. -- Victor Eijkhout <eijkhout at cs.utk.edu>, 329 Claxton, Comp Sci, UT, Knoxville TN 37996. tel: 865 974 9308 (W), 865 673 6998 (H), 865 974 8296 (F) http://www.cs.utk.edu/~eijkhout/
