It is rare that I get excited about software, especially shareware, but Jonas Salling has hit it right on the head with his nifty kewl software for the T68i, so much so that Apple has devoted a page on its website to it (even though when I went there it spelt Ericsson "Ericisson" or something similar.) http://www.apple.com/applescript/bluetooth/ The software has been upgraded to 1.0.0 from 0.99 and includes new Applescripts to offer further control. I have had my friends in awe as I open and play iTunes from the T68i, and alter the volume which displays in large letters on the TiBook's screen. What freaks them more is hitting the button on the T68i to have the Mac *speak* the title of the current track. The track name can also be made to appear on the T68i's screen. There is now an additional system action available (in addition to keynote, iTunes, DVD, and Powerpoint), such that hitting the button now has the T68i tell the TiBook to take a screenshot. I can hardly wait for more apps to be developed much in the way the Keyspan USB IR remote can be setup with any app. I particularly want to see Safari scrolling and Quicktime Player actions. This is a fine example of thinking outside the square where you just know you and thousands of others will be saying, "It's so obvious - why didn't I think of it." Obviously, someone at Apple thought the same, yet gave credit where credit was very much due. Les (No connection to www.salling.com, just happily paid my AUD17 in appreciation of this developer's ingenuity.) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ --------------------------- Les Posen/MEL Webmaster Lposen (AIM/iChat) Australian Psychological Society P.O.
