When I read this, I was very excited. Going to Omni's web site, I assumed that the description and sample images were incomplete, based on this recommendation. Then, I found a copy of the full application on my G4, and played with it a bit. This is not a replacement for Visio, and I don't imagine that Omni considers it to be. Visio comes with templates filled with tons of walls, doors, windows, sinks, toilets, pipes, sprinklers, conduit, desks, chairs, etc., etc. Any project can be set up to a specific scale. Any object placed can be set to a specific size within that scale. Omni Graffle has a handful of shapes, and the ability to scale or have common architectural, landscape or civil engineering objects didn't seem to be there. Is it hidden, or did I simply misunderstand the strong statement made by the person recommending this? And, more importantly, what really is a good OSX substitute for Visio - especially that can import and export Visio files?
