Let me just jump in here: is there a reason my powerbook 667 does not see a plugged-in microphone in the sound-in port? I end up having to use an iMic. What is the sound-in port for? Do I need more hardware just to get it to function? This has been rather vexing. on 3/5/03 12:17 PM, b at galahad9 at earthlink.net wrote: > According to Colin McDonald: > >> Sorry I can't help with this particular problem - I would like to hear an >> answer to this as well. >> >> Colin McDonald > > I can't speak for the 'audio trade', as a whole, but I use a MIDI > in/out controller, and somewhat pricey software to get direct analog > voice, as well as analog and digital sound, 'In', on a 667.
