[Ti] Long Boot Times for BootCD (was) [Ti] OSX Bootable disk

I created a new boot cd that took almost 7 min to boot while the other took
almost 30 min with a blue screen ; the difference between them is that the
first one was created with an additional 30 megs of ram disk while the
second only 10 megs. Why does boot cd creates a ram disk????
