To be blunt: with such knowledge and experience of netiquette, you 
should by now know that such posts should be directed to the list 
owner/moderator and NOT to the list so as to avoid MORE OT posts.

It is solely the decision of the list owner/moderator to determine the 
scope of discussion and extent of tangential exchanges.
