Yes, and if Pink Floyd wants another 12 cents, I would be happy to give that to them, rather I support them directly by attending concerts, etc. OTOH, Apple's Music Store makes it way more convenient to get a known good digital copy of that music, and it is priced reasonably enough that makes it more reasonable to just pay $10 to get it. Coming from a place where my time is what people pay for, I also place a real value on that. If I download legal-but-free music and spend 5 minutes or so futzing with that, plus correcting the meta information, etc, it costs me more than 99 cents in time lost. My leisure time is worth just as much, if not more, than my work time. That is the reason I don't pay someone a buck to wash and iron my shirts... it takes me 10 minutes to iron a shirt; that is only $6/hour... a bad use of my time. Same theory in paying for known quality music downloads. -- <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> Mike Bigley Maineville, Ohio http://www.norbertrunning.com Please support an American Indian Elder & Medicine Man by visiting the above link. <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
