I know there are less- expensive freeware and shareware with some of the same features, but when I first got my TiBook, it was irritatingly time-consuming to hunt around for the many different pieces of utilities that would provide the features I enjoyed on my pre-X Mac. Even the X version of QuicKeys doesn't have all the features it once had, but I still prefer it over a bunch of stuff by different folks I have to remember to upgrade. BTW, don't forget that an extra dock (or QuicKeys toolbar) with frequently used folders is helpful. I also have to have toolbars for OS X games and OS 9 games. cheshirekat
