Hey Folks, I'm using the Lunchtray in the dark next to my sleeping wife. The backlighting on the keys is real nice, but I find that the screen is so bright I can use the keyboard without the backlighting. Even with the screen on the lowest brightness setting. Definitely a no-can-do with the old Ti/500. For those wanting an airport comparison, I was never able to maintain a connection in the bedroom with the airport down the hall with my old Ti/500. Would go back and forth between 0-2 bars on airport, constantly dropping me. Now I get a full 4 bars (sometimes drops to 3 - probably due to slight interference from the baby monitor) in the bedroom. This is a truly amazing machine. To satisfy the naysayers, I'll start referring to it as "Lunchtray Deluxe".
