Sherlock is dead

My Sherlock started dimming its channels one by one. Restarting the app 
did not work. Ditching the preferences file did not work. Ditching the 
whole Sherlock folder in the preferences folder did not work. I now 
have Sherlock without a single default channel. I tried going to a 
clean user account and I was having the same problem, so I doubt this 
was a problem with me ditching the Sherlock folder in the preferences.

What gives?
