Excluding your Users folder, the OS folders (Applications, Library, 
System) come in at 1.8 GB (1,778,845,898 bytes) -- that's with only 
Apple apps and Utilities in the Applications folder.

A simple User comes in at 685.6 MB (706,407,722 bytes) -- that's 
without any songs or pictures.
