..with thanks to anniekin Tip for Print Problems after Repair Permissions run on 10.3 updated from 10.2.8 - (update - see below for tip to solve this - delete the printer, add it again and reboot) " ... Unfortunately RP (Repair Permissions) will cause printing to stop working on systems that were upgraded from earlier releases, due to a missing user not being added by the upgrade process. I'm not sure whether this is common knowledge yet, but you might want to temper the advice with a word of caution. = Mike S. " Checking my Powerbook G4/800 (upgraded from 10.2.8 early this morning and RP run on it with several corrections including iTunes and printing/cups) shows that print jobs are 'stopped' and can't be restarted. Shortly after posting this a reader replied saying he saw the same thing and that deleting and re-installing the printer helped. I tried that (Photo 870 here) and it still didn't print, but then I rebooted and bingo - it's printing now. Same thing on the G5, although for some reason on that system I had to do this twice (deleting/re-adding the printer and rebooting) - but it's also working now. Thanks to John D. for the tip.
