>Thanks. Where is it in Eudora? Under the settings is a bundle of settings called "SSL". >Any idea what SSL stands for? Secure Socket Layer. My work environment uses secure versions of ftp, rsh, and I guess the mail protocols. Set "SSL for POP/SMTP/IMAP" all to optional, and "Standard Port SSL Negotiation" (don't ask) to "TLS 1.0". >Is there a Eudora for X? What Eudora are you using? Yep. I believe the official version is 5.something, but the betas have been very stable for me; I'm using 6.0b31. -- Victor Eijkhout <eijkhout at cs.utk.edu>, 329 Claxton, Comp Sci, UT, Knoxville TN 37996. tel: 865 974 9308 (W), 865 673 6998 (H), 865 974 8296 (F) http://www.cs.utk.edu/~eijkhout/
