[Ti] Switching Powerbooks

Hi All

I am about to get hold of a shiny new 17" and thought that I would 
remove
the, already heavily configured, HD from my DVI 667 and drop it into 
the new 17".

I was wondering if anyone on the list knows how machine dependent 
10.2.6 is, like when
installers are optimising, in as much as is there is any performance 
hit in just moving OSX and Apps from Mac to Mac.

I know my current system will boot and run as I have tried it on a 
friends 17",
so this simply a matter of performance not usage.
