How do I eject a CD from my PB G4 12"?

A friend's late 2002 Ti had this problem and the college bookstore
thought a new drive had to be ordered.  I thought this was nuts,
so we took it to the Genius Bar in the Palo Alto Apple store, where
we found that holding the mouse button down sometimes works better
if you do it with an external USB mouse instead of the trackpad
button.  Problem solved...
