Their should be very few if any extensions in your 9.1 that the classic version of 9 would like in your new OS 10 version. Move your documents over to the new PB. Reinstall only those applications that you can't do without and cant afford to update to OS 10 just yet. If you have very special preferences for thoose you may want to try and swap the preference for just that program . But don't do that until you decided you can't bear with the one the program recreates when installed. If you have a printer, camera etc which had special extensions installed in OS 9, try them without doing anything special. If it doesn't work with what is supplied by the OS 10 go to the producers site and get new drivers. Search versiontracker.com for updates of shareware and freeware you used in OS 9 and think you can't do without. If you can't find them, rather ask us what you're missing and we may be able to suggest a program in OS 10 which does similar actions. Dont install anything old applicationwise if you don't have to. It only cause potential trouble. :-) Lisbeth in Gothenburg <http://homepage.mac.com/holisticum/> updat 030828 <http://www.got-a-mac.org> medlemssida för Got-a-Mac (Mug in Gothenburg)
