[Ti] Mac back-ups on NTSC or FAT formatted HD

it sure should be possible - make sure you have mac os x installed 
though ......
i ran my mac and a windoze pc on the same network and burned files from 
the mac drive (external hd) with the pc over the network ....
i had some software help though ..... i used the software called 
PCMacLan (you install it on a windows pc) and it makes it a little 
easier to transfer files and such stuff ...... i guess it depends how 
your network at home (or wherever) is configured and set up .....
for the mac, there has always been the software "Dave", which connected 
bot worlds - but is installed on the mac ....
when os x came out it wasn't really necessary anymore to have helper 
apps, because X should 'see' the HD (configured right on a network)
i spend hours trying to set it up and finally it worked, but since i am 
not a real network technician i cannot really give you good tips ..... 
besides i would have to know how exactly your network is set up ....
