synchronizing to powerbooks over internet?

This is a basic question, but i am yet to find the best solution to the 
problem. Is it possible to share documents between my Al at work and my 
Ti at home? I have broadband connection on both ends, so speed 
shouldn't be an issue. Is it possible to connect just with the server 
address of my home computer? Or do I need some software to make it 
happen?
