Archived System

I just archived my previous OS and reinstalled Panther. Everything is back
to how it used to be. The only downfall is that I have around 1.9GB of
"Previous System" that is taking a lot of my HD space. What is and what is
not Safe to delete? How does the "Previous System" folder work with the new
System?
