[Ti] SRAM cards in a PowerBook

I hope you are overlooking the obvious, because i sure can't think of 
anything 'deep' at this point. (still fried from the last week's 
work, and also unfamiliar with SRAMs and macs).

But, did you look in the finder window, in OSX? In "Column View"? 
Maybe it will be listed along with other drives, partitions, Network, 
etc?

I unchecked the "Show Mounted Drives" and "Removables" settings here, 
once, because I didn't want to see hard drive icons on the desktop. I 
popped in my iPod, a day or so later, and it didn't appear on the 
Desktop!!  Zoot alors!, I said to myself, what next? <not my exact 
words>

There was the iPod, showing up as a drive, in the finder window. 
Perhaps you'll get off easy on this one, or, maybe you could do a 
Search for a specific item on the Card, and be sure to set the "Find" 
routine to look in "Everywhere".
