Keycaps: ctrl and option

The "ctrl" and "option" keys are symbolized by \' and ^ in the menus and
documentation of Macintosh applications.  But most part-time Mac users have
no idea what these symbols mean.

Why doesn't Apple engrave these symbols into the opt and ctrl keycaps.  The
• and that other thing are engraved into the cmd key.

Wouldn't this simple change make it easier for "switchers"?
