This was an OLD enquiry of mine (from last august) and there were many responses, but I just burned another disk with DV video and I thought someone might be interested to know that now the videos plays fine on my 17" powerbook! The only significant changes since August, I believe, are the addition of Panther, and I recently added 256MB more RAM to my machine. Something tells me its something apple changed with panther.
