[Ti] Connecting an External Monitor

Since when won't it work?  I've used one with my 17" 1 GHz, as I 
mentioned, with great success.  Just make sure you're talking about the 
same thing I am - the big white brick of an adapter?
Details would be helpful as to exactly what your problem is here...
