Superdrive media burning problem

Greetings All

I have a TiBook with superdrive running 10.3.3 and am having trouble 
burning CDs and some DVDs.   Last month I successfully burnt to the 
Apple DVD-R that came with the machine.

The latest problem was trying to burn jpg's.   The CD successfully 
loaded, advised it was copying photos and then started to burn.  Then 
got this message - Burning to Matshita DVD-R UJ-815 drive failed.  
Unknown error - 2147352542.

The drive plays CDs and DVDs without problem.   Anyone have any ideas 
what the problem could be?
