Scratching of Al'book Case on Edge of Lid Near Hinge

When you open an Al'book as far as it will go, and set it on a desk top, the
corner edge of the screen/lid, near the hinge, comes extremely close to the
desk top, and it seems to me that it's going to get scratched if there is
any abrasive dirt on the desk.

I would recommend only using this Al'books on a clean, preferably soft
surface, and not opening it all the way.

Has anyone got any scratches up there yet?
