One list I'm on sends a results message to unsubscribe requests. If the address the unsubscribe was sent from doesn't match the address subscribed as, you can see that from the "unsuccessful" results message. Alternatively, the list admin could occasionally send an email explicitly saying who it is being sent to, as a check for recipients. But you might have to wait half a year if this was done.
