DVD-R /RW are the only two formats officially supported by Apple in 
their Pioneer drives.  There's been rumors of some Macs out there with 
OEM Sony drives that support DVD+R/RW in addition to DVD-R/RW and 
DVD-RAM.  But I haven't seen one yet.
