That has nothing to do with Java. It's Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). Remember, Safari is a fairly new browser undergoing constant development. I've found it to be not only the best, but also the best integrated browser for Mac OS X. It works fine on ~99% of the sites I use or visit, and for those rare occasions where it doesn't, I fire up Netscape. Right now, v 1.2.4 could use some improvement in CSS handling, and will get this when Tiger is released.
